Thoughts about regaining our power

Today I launched a brand new blog website called EastsideTeaparty blog. Please bookmark it for your local resources.
I built it for us to use as a quick place to go and find information.

It links to most of our local groups, as well as many other places that would interest us regarding elected officials, and pending legislation.

Most of us have jobs and are very busy people. We need handy resources to be more efficient and effective.

The left has disastrous plans for this country and are throwing them our way very quickly.

It is incumbent on us now to become as organized and coordinated in our efforts as soon as we can now that we have been forced into this real life game of “survivor”.

Most of us have little if any experience in grass root activism and just wanted to be left alone- with our friends, family, and freedom!

Unfortunately we are not able to enjoy that luxury any longer!

What is slowing us now is a key issue

We need strong local leaders to be promoted, appointed, and followed to be our commanders!

This is a dilemma, in that; we have sent leaders to represent us, only to see them meld into somebody completely different once they were elected.

We need to identify people within our groups who can lead, will lead, and have the courage of conviction to do the right things regardless of the danger in doing so. We also need those leaders to strongly communicate the message we share, and that they themselves will not compromise!

If we do not get that process started, we will not develop those leaders in time.

These are not necessarily the same people in the political process now, following the same path as those before them that have failed us.

So I propose that we start our searches and meet to discuss our roles as groups.

I myself am not asking for this leader role. I know I do not possess the skills or life circumstances to do a responsible job, but I help in anyway I can. This letter is part of the effort, as is the blog I launched today!

We need to be organized enough to put some real pressure on these elected officials so that we are not steamrolled by socialism shortly.

There are many issues that people are strongly against yet these issues are being forced on us. Enough is enough.

We can be silent no more. We must make our stand, and make our groups too strong for anyone to ignore!

Thanks for your time,

Your friend
